Being my first time being married, I wanted to plan a picture perfect wedding shower. I needed help, so I asked my sister if she would like to help me plan it. She said yes and was as happy as I was. Planning a wedding shower is time consuming, but I couldn’t wait to start planning it. I have planned showers before and I knew my shower would turn out awesome. There was not a whole lot of time for me to plan my shower and I thought I better get started soon.
My sister and I searched for a hall to rent that was big enough to accommodate all of the guests. We came across one that was real close to where I live. We then went searching on the internet for all the decorations and gifts. We saw so many themed wedding shower ideas that were cute. I bought all my decorations and gifts for the shower. I needed to find the shower favors. There were so many to choose from. I took a lot of time looking because of all the awesome shower favors. When I came across a cotton handkerchief, I knew that is what I wanted my guests to get as a gift. I thought I could purchase one for me and have it on me the day I get married. I seen a dress handkerchief that was so beautiful. I knew right away that all my guests would love the men’s handkerchiefs. My decision was to pick the lace handkerchief for my guests.
Everything was turning out. The hall was reserved and we bought the decorations, gifts, and wedding favors. I now had to plan what I was going to have as food for my shower. I thought about catering it in, but that was expensive. While looking through my recipes, I came across some of the best dishes, that I know me and my sister could prepare. We ordered the cake at the bakery down the street. Everything was ready. I found these awesome invitations and mailed them out to family and friends. All we needed to now is wait patiently for the day of the shower.
It was the day of the shower and I and my sister went to the hall early to set the tables and decorate. It took us about an hour to decorate the hall. As soon as we finished, we were amazed how great the room looked. I made sure that I took a picture to remember how great it looked. The cake was on the table with the food and each table had a center piece. We put a cotton handkerchief at each setting. If you were to walk in the room, you would think how gorgeous it looked.
I had such a good time with my family and friends after they arrived. My guests enjoyed each other’s company. We had fun playing games and eating. I heard throughout the shower that my guests liked receiving the handkerchief as a gift. I couldn’t believe how many gifts I got from all my guests. The shower was coming to a end and I wanted it not to end, because we were all having a good time.
When it was time for my guests to leave, they commented how much of a good time they had and were happy to get the handkerchief. I am so glad I went with the handkerchief for the wedding favor. This day turned out so good and will be remembered for a life time. I am glad that my sister was so helpful in planning the shower with me. It meant so much to me that she was a part of this. That is the reason she is my maid of honor.

My Growth Rx Review!

I like to work out hard, and if the pros are many and the cons are few, and if it’s totally natural, I’ll look seriously into taking something to help me improve my work-out results. Looking like I’m in top shape is important to me, and I’m eager to put in the time and effort to get there, but sacrificing my health isn’t worth it to me. The Search For Summer Wedding Favors!

Planning an outside wedding wasn’t as difficult as I thought it would be. In fact, it didn’t cost as much as an indoor wedding would have cost us. Having the natural beauty of the outdoors saved us a lot of money on decorations. The first thing on my agenda was to find that perfect place to hold our summer wedding and reception party. I thought about a super beach wedding and reception, or maybe have it in a gorgeous garden, but I decided to have our ceremony and reception in the park. I was surprised at all the parks available for weddings.

I wasn’t really sure where to start, so I shopped around for some much needed suggestions. If you’re going to have your ceremony outside, it’s a good idea to have an alternative plan just in case the weather turns on you. A tent was suggested just in case the weather turns out badly.

In our original wedding preparations, we had a lovely canopy set up for the reception and a lovely trellis for our ceremony. The only real decorations I needed were those for my wedding table and the guests reception tables. With the park as our main theme, I basically had to make sure I had our table settings and maybe throw in a few extra bouquets of flowers. I decided to go with artificial flowers because I didn’t want to have our wedding to be the target of a bee swarm. You couldn’t tell they were artificial they were so beautiful,they looked like the real deal. The wedding was easier than I originally thought it would be, but there were a lot of things to consider. You have to make sure your cake is safe from the summer sun, make sure you have citronella candles at your reception and that your tent has nearby rest room areas. [I found quite a few terrific accessories that I could use for the reception. I had little park bench place card holders at each table setting, and little citronella votive candles in glass globes with a nice flower arrangement as our centerpieces. I found very decorative favor boxes and used them to package the chrome bottle openers we bought for our friends and family as a summer wedding invitation. The most beautiful part of our wedding table was our cake with it’s gorgeous wedding cake topper.

I saw this cake topper when I was checking out all the wedding accessories they had to offer, and I knew this was the topper I wanted. They were especially customized for the bride and groom. All I had to do was send in a head shot picture of me and my fiance and they custom made a bride and groom cake topper with our faces. What a wonderful momento of our wedding day. All of our guests were so impressed with our topper, they couldn’t stop talking about it. All the wonderful accessories I ordered for our reception and wedding ceremony came from the same place, including our champagne flutes and silver cake set. You wouldn’t believe all the nice accessories you can buy online.

Everything at the wedding and reception were fantastic. Thank goodness the weather stayed perfect throughout the entire ceremony and reception and we never had to put plan B into action. We all loved the super DJ and the fantastic job he was doing, and if I’m right, he probably kept the music and dancing going on for quite a while after we left to go on our honeymoon. A lot of good things were said about our wedding ceremony and everyone said they had a fantastic time at the reception. I couldn’t have picked a better place than the park for our wedding ceremony and reception party.
