Exquisite Heart Favor!

Wednesday, June 10th, 2009

What better way to say how much you love each other than to plan a beautiful wedding in the month of February, the month of love? That’s what I decided to do, have a ceremony and reception filled with one of the most adorned symbols of love throughout our ceremony and reception party. My initial purchase was a stunning tiara that I discovered while browsing on the web. There were many wonderful decorations and supplies to choose from, such as the invitations I bought. The invitations I sent out were little cards with two little silver hearts on the front. The only thing I really had to do was write in the information, like the place and the date, and the rest was already filled out in beautiful calligraphy when we got them.
They were really nice hearts wedding invitations and not only were the invitations beautiful, but so were all the fantastic accessories for the ceremony and the reception. They had everything I needed from hearts wedding favors to hearts cake serving sets, even wedding cake toppers that fit the motif. I had no problem finding the hearts wedding favor I wanted to give to each of our friends and family members as their wedding favor gifts.

Everyone had their wedding attire taken care of, including our little flower girl and ring boy. The basket for the flower girl was going to be adorned with white satin, with lace and bows on each side. The rings also had a white satin ribbon on them, with a white pillow that had a gold double hearts wedding insignia on it for our ring bearer. My bridal tiara was a pretty good match for the one that I picked out for the flower girl to wear in the ceremony. She did look like a little princess in her lovely little pink flower girl dress, and she did such a super job in the ceremony. So did the ring boy, he was quite elegant in his little tuxedo with a red boutonniere in his lapel. He carried the ring pillow like a pro and kept in step with the rest of the wedding party. I was very glad that I chose to include both of them.
The centerpieces we had made up for the reception dinner had tiny hearts intermixed with roses that were white, pink, and red. I got a heart place card holder that was the prettiest I had ever seen for each place setting, and two hearts wedding candles that made it feel like love was in the air. I ordered beautiful little silver bells with a heart shaped handle that make a very lovely keepsake from our wedding day for each of our guests. Every layer of our wedding cake was adorned with small red and pink roses, and the bottom section had tiny hearts running all the way around it. On top sat our very special keepsake hearts wedding cake topper made of white porcelain, which looked so elegant with all the other cake decorations.
Everything at our wedding and reception was the perfect picture of a true valentines day wedding with all the hearts and flowers imaginable. I’m just glad I had the internet to turn to, it made everything so much easier.

We gave a hearts wedding favor

The couple picked out a heart wedding for their choice of décor, and what they did with it was spectacular. From the invitations to the wedding favors everything had cute little hearts on it. The pretty hearts wedding favors they sent out had a couple of silver hearts on the outside with the scheduling and contact information all printed so that it was right there when you opened it up. With the silver on them, they were rather striking. Two wee hearts hung from their unity candle, which was flanked by taper candles sitting in very fine-looking holders. The flowers and candles added an exquisite touch to the altar. They even had hearts hung on the end of each pew with the tulle draping from row to row. I’m sure that the hearts were related to the wedding day falling on Valentine’s Day. It was an incredible wedding, highlighted by a bride that was so lovely, she could have been an angel.
The décor of the reception included a plethora of hearts and flowers. White roses, and some red ones, were placed in the middle of each table, and the place cards were put in holders designed around a silver hearts wedding. The wine glasses and champagne glasses made the tables sparkle. She really did do a bang up job on table décor The champagne flutes were long stemmed crystal and the wine glasses were personalized with the names of the bride and groom and the date of their wedding. On the table that the wedding party sat at, the new couple had very special champagne glasses. They were double hearts wedding flutes, with the two silver hearts linked together, just like on the hearts wedding invitation they sent me.
They had a little magnificent hearts wedding cake with five layers of heavenly confection. It really was quite delicious and really gorgeous. They had a personalized wedding cake topper that was a spitting image of the two of them; come to think of it, this may have been the only item in the whole wedding that wasn’t a heart. They were really very unique, I’ve never seen a wedding cake topper quite like this one. She said she bought it at a wedding website where she got all of her accessories and reception supplies. From a few pictures of the two of them, they created a look-alike cake topper figurine for each of them; it was very impressive. Something like this has to be a really super wedding keepsake.
In the end, we gave some hearts wedding favor to all of the guests. We got coffee in a bride or groom styled package, along with a heart shaped coffee scooper, and then we also got very pretty votive candle holders. A very original idea for them to think of, I felt. Really, there was no shortage of awesome thoughts for the wedding. The whole hearts genre matched Valentine’s Day, but I was still surprised at how many supplies and wedding items she found to fit that theme. I still can’t get over how cool that cake topper was. That could work great on a birthday cake or maybe even a graduation cake, not just a wedding cake. She told me they have supplies and decorations for many events, and promised to show me where she shopped. Well, anyway, the wedding ceremony and the reception were a definite success and everyone had a wonderful time. Their Mexico honeymoon is probably even more fun than the wedding was. I’m looking forward to hearing all about it, and checking out the photos when they get back. From the pictures on the pamphlets she had, it looks like a beautiful place to visit.
